So last Monday (December 17), admin Y and I had a chance to watch the UFL finals—-something that we haven’t done in literally ten billion light years. It was our way to celebrate Admin Y’s inclusion in the dean’s list and her taking of her last term in college next year. And well me, I just really wanted to watch football. I had nothing to celebrate. :))

So we went there and it was almost a mini hellyeah-azkals meet-up. Our followers recognized us and said hi and sat close to us and all sorts and we fangirled together. First game was between Meralco and the Archers—a game where I didn’t know who to cheer for. One on hand, Green Archers are well, they’re archers. They’re from us. And then there’s Meralco—-James and Phil. So I decided to cheer for Meralco. Because you know, James and Phil and stuff. :)))

So the game ended, we went out and bought some food from SM because God knows how expensive the food is in RMS. When we came back, we realized that we were sitting at the Stallions’ side of the grandstand and we had to go to the other side to cheer on for Global safe and sound. :))

When we took our seats,there were several younger ladies in front of us wearing their shirts loud and proud. The had team Omphroy shirts and Angeles shirts and Pascual shirts. It was like a flashback of how we fangirled before although we never really wore shirts with the player’s name except if its a jersey. 

So the finals started and just when we thought the Stallions got a lead when they scored their first goal for the first half, Global scored their first goal as well right after the Stallions scored theirs. Badtrip lang yung Stallions eh. :))

During the halftime break, the players were out and about in the field and we snapped some pictures of them although it was obvious we were busted. :)) As Paolo was walking back to the dug out, I was about to wave and say hi since I haven’t seen him for about a year more or less. And then as I was about to raise my hand and wave when the younger ladies sitting near us went ballistic screaming his name. Naoverpower ang powers ko so I just stayed put. :)))))

And then after the game, we were able to get into the pitch and snapped pictures and get to hug players and get to rape stare them. Special thanks to our PFF friend Cheska. :)) So here are the rest of the shots.

Since we really don’t have much photos to share with you since the guys are lying low after their games, we thought we’d just share with you our experiences and photos we haven’t shown you before. :)

So we actually have some photos from our second/third months here when we used to have contests and meet up our followers with free dinner and all. :))) Here is where we met Pat and Apple and became our real life friends. And hell yeah that’s when we gave Anton Snickers and everyone kept giving him chocolate after that. Did it before twas cool yo. And oh yeah we took a lot of pictures.

There are more but you know. Pat and Apple were a bit shy so Admin Y and I went all kapalmuks and dragged them to the players who were oh-so-nice. They weren’t so popular back then and you can actually chat with them. :))

When UFL was still very much “underground” *hahahaha* there weren’t really a lot of people watching football games and security wasn’t so tight. We can actually just sit there amongst the players and they come up to the people themselves and talk to them. They even play with kids.

It was actually the first time we actually had a chat with Manong Chieffy and Ian and also the very first time we met Paolo and Misagh (who was still an exclusive global and futsal player back then). Misagh had a lot of fangirls even before he was an Azkal.  True story.
